Non Food - Assistant Merchandiser

Responsibilities
* Support the delivery of customer-focused product ranges to achieve sales, profit, margin, and stock targets.
* Review weekly trading performance, identify opportunities and issues, and provide relevant analysis.
* Own and manage category and SKU level forecasts to optimise sales, stock holding, margin, and availability.
* Collaborate with the A&R replenishment assistant to plan initial allocations and launches to meet stock and availability targets.
* Utilise strong analytical and numerical skills and merchandising systems to drive efficiency and maximise availability.
* Manage orders, maintain data integrity, and ensure compliance with legal and sustainability requirements.
* Build relationships with stakeholders and contribute to team success with a proactive and positive approach.
Who you are
* Driven and passionate professional, capable of thriving in a fast-paced retail environment.
* Experience in an Assistant Merchandiser or Merchandise Admin role, or a relevant field graduate with understanding of allocation and stock management.
* Strong analytical and numerical skills with proficiency in Excel, enabling review of trading performance, forecast sales, and optimise stock availability.
* Excellent organisational ability and attention to detail to ensure timely delivery of stock, manage order processes, and maintain data integrity.
* Proactive in learning new systems and building positive relationships with stakeholders.
