About the Role:
* Deliver engaging and relevant Health and Social Care lessons across Key Stages 4 and 5
* Teach key topics such as human lifespan development, health and wellbeing, and care values
* Use real-life case studies and current issues in health and social care to enrich the learning experience
* Assess student progress, set achievable goals, and provide clear, constructive feedback
* Contribute to the wider school community, including PSHE, careers support, and enrichment opportunities

The ideal candidate will:
* Hold QTS or an equivalent UK teaching qualification (ECTs are welcome to apply)
* Have experience teaching Health and Social Care at secondary or post-16 level
* Demonstrate strong subject knowledge and a passion for preparing students for real-world careers in care and support services
* Be able to deliver lessons that promote critical thinking, compassion, and cultural awareness
* Show excellent communication, organisational, and classroom management skills
* Be committed to safeguarding, inclusion, and continuous professional development
