Are you passionate about sport and education? Do you have the drive to inspire and empower the next generation of learners? Peterborough College is looking for a dynamic Lecturer in Sport to join our Leisure & Service Industries Faculty.
What You’ll Do:
As a Lecturer in Sport, you’ll play a key role in delivering high-quality teaching and assessment across a range of sport courses (Levels 1 to 3, and possibly higher). You’ll create engaging learning experiences that motivate students to achieve their best, contribute to course development, and support learners on their journey to success. You will also have the opportunity to coordinate courses, undertake internal verification, and build strong industry links through work placements.

What We’re Looking For:
8. Level 5 teaching qualification (e.g., DTTLS, Diploma in Education and Training, Cert Ed, or PGCE) or willing to work towards
9. Relevant qualifications in sport (Level 3 or higher)
10. Experience in a sport-related environment
11. Passion for teaching and supporting learners to succeed
12. Strong knowledge of the sport curriculum and vocational education
13. Ability to use innovative teaching methods and integrate maths and English skills
14. Excellent communication and organisational skills
15. Commitment to safeguarding and promoting equality and diversity
