Job title : Maintenance Technician (Drivers Licence Required)
Duration: Temp ongoing
Start date: ASAP
Days and Hours: Tuesday - Saturday or Sunday to Thursday (9am-5pm)
Location : Across London, Central office based in Tottenham Court Road
Pay: £18-20phr
Duties include the following:
1. Installation of furniture, lights, home appliances, wall mounting of mirror, artwork as required.
2. Liaise with cleaning companies to ensure end of tenancy cleans are arranged and preformed to standard.
3. Inspect all properties after / before tenants arrive.
4. Conduct repairs as needed (carpentry, handyman tasks, light painting tasks).
5. Troubleshoot & repair where possible. Where applicable, arrange a repair with a specialist appliance engineer.
6. Conduct inspections and provide a snag list for the apartments.
7. Liaise with contractors on maintenance tasks (appliances, plumbing, electrical work, etc) that are specialized if needed, hand over, communication, and follow up checks.
8. Assist guests with maintenance/technical issues (electrical, plumbing, carpentry related to their stay) at the property in order to support a positive guests experience.
9. Assist in delivering missing items to clients, such as glassware, lighting, small appliances, etc.
10. Update Operations Manager about status of tasks
Candidate specifications/requirements
11. Valid UK Driving Licence
12. Experience working as a general maintenance/ repairs technician or similar
13. Strong organisation skills and attention to detail
14. Great problem solving skills, flexible
15. Excellent communication skills - written and verbally
16. Must be positive and a go-getter team player
