Role: TIG Welder
Location: Northampton
About the role:
1. Ensure that Health, Safety, Environment and Quality policies and standards are adhered to. i.e. clean and organised work area, waste disposal, specification compliance, Hazard spots etc.
2. Liaise with testing team to organise a prioritised test schedule.
3. Ensure the correct materials are picked from stores to complete each job.
4. Complete assigned assembled hose schedule.
5. Ensure tested hose assemblies are stored/ quarantined in accordance with company procedures.
6. Liaise with goods-in/dispatch to be packed and shipped.
7. Communicate with quality team if failures or faults have been identified and assist in subsequent investigations.
Hours of work:
07:00 - 15:00 - Mon to Fri
39 hours per week
About you:
8. Must have previous experience in TIG welding
9. Previous industry experience is nice but not essential (Metallic hose assembly).
10. Must be able to use a computer. Basic IT skills.
11. Literate and mathematically competent.
12. Must be willing to learn and expand their understanding.
13. Must be adaptable/ flexible.
14. Must be driven and motivated.
15. Able to work both independently and in a team.
16. Show willingness to learn and try new things in a rapidly evolving production environment.
17. Seek opportunities to improve processes and performance (business and personal).
