About the Role We are seeking a Project Officer to join our growing team. You will support Parking Services, a high-profile area of the Council and play a key role in ensuring we provide a high quality, customer focused service to our residents and service users. This role supports the delivery of projects that improve parking infrastructure, operational processes and customer experience across the Bath and North East Somerset area, while driving innovation to enhance how service users interact with and benefit from our services. The role holds accountability for coordinating project activities, overseeing progress against key milestones, maintaining accurate and comprehensive documentation and ensuring full compliance with all relevant policies, procedures and regulatory requirements, while fostering effective collaboration with internal teams, contractors and stakeholders. The successful candidate will be highly organised, detail-oriented, proactive and confident in managing multiple priorities. Strong communication skills, a professional approach, and proficiency in IT systems are essential. Experience in local authority services or transport related projects is desirable. You will be part of a supportive, multi-skilled team, offering opportunities to collaborate with colleagues while also working independently. Your contribution will strengthen the resilience of Parking Services and contribute to its overall performance. Work Environment: This role offers the flexibility of blended working, with time split between home and our award-winning Civic Centre in Keynsham, conveniently located between Bath and Bristol.
