HVAC Materials Coordinator

We're looking for a proactive Procurement & Inventory Coordinator to join our team and help streamline the materials and purchasing process that supports our field operations. This is a full-time, in-office position starting at $23 per hour, with opportunities for growth based on performance and experience.

The Core of Your Role
In this role, you'll place and manage digital purchase orders, track deliveries, and coordinate returns with suppliers to keep our inventory moving and our install teams stocked. You'll work closely with our warehouse, install, service, accounting, and operations teams to ensure materials arrive on time, at the right cost, and with minimal disruption.
You'll also:
* Maintain and update the internal price book to reflect current material costs
* Reconcile purchase orders and invoices for accuracy
* Identify usage trends to improve forecasting and reduce waste
What It Takes to Thrive in This Role
This role requires a technical understanding of the products we use, along with keen attention to detail and strong vendor management skills. You'll be expected to research product lines, negotiate pricing, and look for ways to streamline procurement processes. Your ability to stay organized, communicate clearly, and solve problems quickly will be key to your success.
You'll also be responsible for:
* Monitoring item usage and generating basic analytics to guide purchasing decisions
* Updating product pricing and entering new materials into our system
* Creating and refining standard operating procedures for procurement workflows
* Supporting inventory control audits and recommending improvements
