Randstad is in search of a committed and experienced Special Educational Needs (SEN) Primary Teacher for KS1-KS2 in the picturesque Windsor area. Key Responsibilities:
* Individualised Instruction: Deliver tailored educational support to students with SEN, including those with ASD, ADHD, and SEND, in both one-on-one and group settings.
* Team Collaboration: Effectively collaborate with fellow teachers and Key Stage coordinators to integrate specialised SEN teaching methods.
* Mentorship: Serve as a mentor to students, providing guidance and support for their academic and social development, while handling sensitive information with discretion.
* Communication: Foster strong communication links between students, parents, and the educational team to promote a unified approach to learning.
* Curriculum Development: Design, assess, and refine engaging educational programs that maintain high standards of teaching and learning.
* Inspirational Teaching: Exhibit a strong passion for teaching and mentoring children aged 5-11 years in Years 1-6, inspiring them to love learning.
Requirements:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS): Must possess QTS and have relevant experience in an educational setting, preferably with SEN students.
* Communication Skills: Outstanding communication skills, capable of effective collaboration in diverse settings.
* Passion for SEN: Demonstrable enthusiasm for working with SEN children and an understanding of their specific educational and social care needs.
* Flexibility: Skilled at adapting teaching methods and strategies to cater to the individual needs of SEN students.
* Experience: Prior experience teaching primary-aged children is essential, with a strong background in SEN education preferred.
