Title: Management Accountant

The Position
This is a unique opportunity to join a newly PE backed organisation, our missions is to Europe’s IP firm of choice and we are entering an exciting new phase of transformation and expansion.
Working in a very busy finance team, the role plays a pivotal role in delivering high-quality financial insight, budgeting, and forecasting to aid strategic decision-making across the business. This role requires a strong understanding of the professional services environment, including time-based billing, work-in-progress (WIP) management, and profitability analysis by client, department, and service line.
Due to the recent investment, a flexible approach will be required as the team evolves its strategy to meet the needs of the business.
About You
You will be a qualified ACCA or CIMA professional with at least one year of experience in a management accountant role and have a solid background in financial environments, including preparing and monitoring financial plans and explaining variances in detail. Ideally, you’ve worked in the professional services sector and have experience supporting operations across multiple countries.
Key Skills:
* Ability to produce financial management information for non-finance colleagues and communicate clearly and professionally, both in writing and verbally, while maintaining confidentiality.
* Exceptional attention to detail and proficiency in double-entry accounting, statutory accounts preparation, and tax analysis for external auditors.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to thrive under pressure and manage competing deadlines.
* Comfortable working independently or as part of a team.
* Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel, adept at handling large datasets and complex formulas.
* Experience with Power BI and SAGE X3 is a plus.
* Flexible and proactive approach to work.
* Over three years of management accounting experience, international subsidiary consolidation, or exposure to transfer pricing, SRA-regulated environments, or PE-backed businesses is a distinct advantage.
