Overview
Procurement Manager role at Tesco Insurance and Money Services. This is a 12-month Fixed Term Contract based in Edinburgh with hybrid working. Salary from £50,240 plus annual bonus and benefits. Location – Edinburgh. Office attendance: hybrid; travel to Edinburgh 2 days per week. Closing date: Applications close Friday 3 October 2025.
What you’ll be doing
* Align procurement activities with the transformation program, ensuring supplier agreements and contract dates support the overall strategy.
* Engage with stakeholders across Tesco Group, leveraging group-wide contracts to drive cost efficiencies and strategic value.
* Manage supplier relationships, ensuring compliance with regulatory and business requirements.
* Support the procurement team with procurement activities, including contract administration, tracking, and reporting to maintain governance and efficiency.
* Build stakeholder engagement and proactively collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to deliver procurement activities.
* Deliver high savings targets through robust sourcing events, ensuring suppliers meet all operational requirements while providing best value for Tesco Insurance and Money Services.
* Consistently track and report on savings targets for projects using the agreed process.
* Develop new and existing supplier relationships to ensure continued suitability and create greater value across the organisation.
* Support the business to achieve compliance with legal, ethical, and social procurement policies with integrity and good judgement.
We need you to have
* Previous experience in Procurement, ideally in a related field.
* Experience working in a transformation program, particularly environments involving mergers, acquisitions, or the setup of a new organisation.
* Excellent stakeholder engagement skills, with experience collaborating across multiple teams and business functions.
* A proactive, self-sufficient approach, with the ability to take ownership, drive initiatives, and work independently without constant direction.
* Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, evolving environment, ensuring procurement activities align with the organisation’s strategic objectives.
* Cross-functional working and stakeholder engagement.
* Strong negotiation skills and commercial acumen.
* Knowledge of supplier relationship and performance management.
* Category planning experience.

* CIPS qualified.
* Experience in IT and software industry.
* Experience working inside a large corporate entity with global reach.
