We’re supporting a major UK defence engineering programme within the maritime sector and are seeking an experienced Cyber Security Consultant to join a long-term Fleet Solid Support ship project. This is an exciting 12 month contract (with strong potential to extend) working across product security, OT cyber, and MOD security governance.
What You’ll Be Doing
* Lead cyber security analysis across Operational Technology (OT) and control systems
* Develop and maintain RMADS documentation, risk assessments and security assurance plans
* Support Factory Security Testing (FST) and wider cyber verification activity
* Provide technical guidance relating to MOD security policies (JSP440/453/604)
* Support security testing, SIEM, IDS/IPS, networks, Wi-Fi encryption and firewall reviews
* Advise on cyber best practice across a complex maritime engineering environment
What We’re Looking For
* BPSS or SC clearance (or eligible)
* Experience on UK MOD programmes
* OT/ICS/PLC knowledge
* Familiarity with IEC 62443, NIST 800-53A/82/30, DefStan 08-216
* Background in defence, aerospace, shipbuilding, combat systems or similar
This engagement is for 12m paying £650p/d Inside IR35
