Overview
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Clinical Educator in the Acute Medicine Unit. The unit covers an Acute Assessment Unit, Ambulatory Emergency Care and Medical High Dependency Unit.
Responsibilities
* Implement and support mandatory and essential training for approximately 110 staff from Band 2 to 8a.
* Support staff with the SVQ programme.
* Arrange staff induction to the unit and organise regular and ad hoc training sessions to meet the needs of the team.
* Work closely with the AMU team.
* Function as a role model showing depth of knowledge, expertise, proficiency and experience.
Qualifications
* RGN with experience in acute adult nursing.
* Experience in critical care preferred.
* Strong interest in Acute Care, training, education and professional development.
* Excellent care values and a strong sense of team spirit.
* Enthusiasm to work, learn and develop yourself and colleagues within a high‑pressure environment.

* Hours of work: 0800-1600 Monday to Friday.
* Seniority level: Mid‑Senior level.
