Operations Manager – RF / Electronics / Engineering
About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Operations Manager to join our team in West Drayton and take ownership of our day-to-day operations and long-term business planning. This is a senior, hands-on leadership role suited to someone with a solid background in the RF, electronics, or wider engineering sector.
You will be the operational backbone of the business, overseeing the full lifecycle of R&D projects while partnering with senior leadership to shape the strategic direction and future growth of the company.
What You'll Be Doing
* Leading and managing all R&D projects from initiation through to delivery, ensuring timelines, budgets, and technical objectives are met
* Driving operational efficiency across engineering and production functions
* Working closely with the leadership team on business planning, capacity forecasting, and long-term strategic development
* Identifying and resolving operational bottlenecks to improve throughput and quality
* Building and maintaining strong cross-functional relationships across engineering, commercial, and supply chain teams
* Monitoring KPIs and performance metrics, reporting progress to senior stakeholders
* Supporting resource planning, headcount requirements, and team development initiatives
What We're Looking For
* Proven experience in an Operations Manager (or equivalent) role within the RF, electronics, or engineering industry (this is essential)
* Strong understanding of R&D project management methodologies and engineering workflows
* Commercially aware, with the ability to contribute meaningfully to business planning and growth strategy
* Excellent leadership and communication skills, able to motivate teams and influence at all levels
* Highly organised, analytical, and comfortable managing competing priorities
* Degree in Engineering, Operations, Business, or a related discipline (or equivalent experience)

* £70,000 – £80,000 base salary (depending on experience)
