About Engage
Engage Solutions Group is a UK-based SaaS company solving a real communication challenge inside organisations: how to keep employees and customers connected, informed and part of a community.
We didn’t start in SaaS. The business originally came from print media before pivoting into mobile apps in 2015–16 as the world moved to smartphones. In 2017, new ownership with strong SaaS backgrounds led the shift toward a product-led model, and since then the platform has matured significantly.
Today, we work with 60+ customers across retail, automotive, legal and professional services. Growth has been organic. The product works. The customer base is strong.
Now we need to sharpen how we tell that story and build a repeatable demand engine behind it.
Why This Role Is So Exciting
This is not a “run the ads” marketing role. You will help define how Engage is positioned in the market. You will work directly with founders to align vision, product reality and go-to-market execution. You will turn scattered product knowledge into structured, compelling messaging. You will help shift Engage from a referral-led business to a demand-led one. You will build the foundations of a growth engine that compounds over time.
If you enjoy creating clarity where there is noise, and building structures where there are silos, this is a strong fit.
You will operate across strategy and execution. There is no large marketing team to delegate to. You will build, test and refine yourself.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Clarity & Messaging
* Align founders around a clear, consistent market narrative and bridge the gap between product vision and current capability
* Turn siloed product knowledge into structured messaging frameworks tailored to sharper ICPs and personas
Demand Generation & Performance
* Build and execute end-to-end campaigns across email, content and paid channels with a clear focus on pipeline
* Develop high-converting assets and optimise HubSpot workflows, reporting and website journeys to improve performance
Cross-Functional Alignment
* Work closely with Product, Sales and Customer Success to ensure positioning reflects reality and supports real deals
* Feed insight and data back into leadership conversations to shape ongoing strategy
What We’re Looking For
* Proven commercial B2B SaaS marketing experience (ideally 3+ yrs commercial exp)
* Experience operating as a solo marketer or in a lean team
* Deep familiarity with HubSpot including workflows, email campaigns and basic RevOps
* Strong messaging and positioning capability, not just channel execution
* Experience translating complex products into simple, structured narratives
* Confidence working directly with founders and senior stakeholders, including challenging constructively
* A commercially minded approach, focused on pipeline and revenue rather than vanity metrics
You will likely enjoy this role if
* You have built or rebuilt a demand engine from scratch and enjoy turning product complexity into clear, compelling market stories. You prefer ownership over narrow specialisation and are motivated by building strong foundations in an evolving environment.
This role may not be right for you if
* You prefer operating within a large, highly specialised marketing team with established structure. You are strongest purely in channel execution or high-level strategy, but less comfortable bridging positioning and hands‑on delivery.
What’s on Offer
* Competitive salary package (shared during interview process)
* Unlimited annual leave policy
* Flexi-hybrid working (2 days in our stunning office, with roof terrace, in central Manchester)
* Other perks: Private Healthcare, Pension Scheme, Gym, cycle store and on-site shower facilities, Cycle to Work scheme, Death in Service, Quarterly release parties and fantastic summer and Christmas social events
* The opportunity to build a growth engine from first principles

We aim to keep the process thoughtful and efficient.
* Introductory call - informal conversation to explore experience and fit (30 mins, video)
* Strategic discussion - deeper conversation around positioning, messaging and growth approach (45–60 mins, video)
* Practical exercise - short task and presentation focused on narrative and demand strategy (60 mins)
