Purchasing Administrator

* Up to £30,000 (Pro Rata, DOE)
* Fixed Term (12 months)
* Monday: 8:00am – 5:00pm, Tuesday: 7:00am – 4:00pm, Wednesday: 8:00am – 5:00pm (24 hours per week)
A Purchasing Administrator is wanted to join a food manufacturer in Ilminster. You will play a vital role supporting procurement operations, coordinating data, and ensuring smooth communications between suppliers, transport, and internal teams.
Key Responsibilities:
* Support daily stock management.
* Maintain the purchase ordering system, ensuring daily and accurate data entry.
* Communicate regularly with suppliers and logistics teams to ensure smooth intake operations.
* Update the Procurement Team with contract status and volume requirements.
* Manage the weekly grower payment process and report weekly financial figures.
* Raise customer invoices.
Key Skills & Experience:
* Strong Excel and general IT skills (working with spreadsheets and internal ERP systems)
* Excellent attention to detail, with the ability to identify and correct data errors.
* Confident communication with both internal stakeholders and external partners
