Going to university in the UK can open up lots of interesting, exciting, and even life-changing opportunities. To help us share what makes the University of Lincoln a great choice, we are seeking to appoint an engaging and enthusiastic Regional Manager for Africa to join our International Office team.
As Regional Manager for Africa, you will play a key role in shaping and delivering the University of Lincoln's student recruitment strategy across Nigeria, Kenya, Ghana, and the wider region. You will be expected to create innovative campaigns that engage prospective students and drive enrolments, while building and managing a network of recruitment stakeholders across target markets.
This role requires extensive travel across Africa, up to 15 weeks per year or more as needed, to engage with prospective students, their supporters and recruitment partners.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop and implement data-driven student recruitment strategies to achieve enrolment targets.
* Establish and maintain strong relationships with external stakeholders, including schools, universities, education agents, student sponsors, and government bodies.
* Deliver impactful recruitment activities, including presentations, webinars, and student engagement initiatives.
* Provide expert and best fit guidance to prospective students and their supporters on admissions, funding, and studying in the UK.
* Monitor market trends and sector developments to inform strategic decision-making.
To succeed in this role, you will be target-driven, a passionate advocate for UK higher education, and ideally have a strong understanding of the education landscape across Africa. You should have experience in student recruitment, alongside exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills.
At the University of Lincoln we embrace flexibility and a hybrid culture of working; therefore as part of this role you will be able to experience both working as part of a vibrant campus community, and the ability to work remotely if you wish. At present the International Office team is required to work on campus for a set two days per week, currently Monday and Wednesday.
Please note this post is fixed term to cover maternity leave for one year, or until the early return of the post holder. The position is open to candidates who have existing permission to work in the UK and must be able to commence employment by October 2025. Interview dates will be confirmed as soon as possible, but will likely be held in mid-September.
