We have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Air Product Manager to join a rapidly expanding travel brand. Reporting to the Product and Purchasing Director, the successful candidate will oversee the group's air strategy.
They will lead, design, implement and oversee the performance of airline-related product offerings—whether packages, digital supply chains or booking systems. This cross-functional role spans negotiating with suppliers, managing GDS, NDC and API integrations in addition to executing product strategies that enhance customer experience and boost profitability.
Previous experience within a similar role within the travel industry is essential for the position and in return, our client can offer a salary circa £55-60k plus excellent benefits. (This role can be based in Horsham, Chester, Belfast or Dublin.)

Role of Air Product Manager:
1. Negotiate preferential air (and sometimes combined air-hotel) rates with airlines, consolidators and GDS providers
2. Ensure compliance with industry standards ie, ATOL and IATA regulations
3. Curate flight or flight-inclusive packages based on client preferences and market gaps
4. Lead implementation and optimization of flight booking tools, GDS systems, APIs (inc NDC), and other related platforms
5. Own roadmaps and integration of airline aggregators/consolidators into product offerings
6. Build dashboards, tools, and reporting for air operations, fare monitoring, invoice processing (BSP/ARC/IATA), and performance tracking
7. Define the product vision roadmap, and go-to-market strategy for air supply, OTA connectivity, or cross-product bundles
8. Conduct competitive analysis and market trend evaluation to aid innovation and partnerships
9. Collaborate with Finance and Sales and Marketing departments to deliver meaningful impact
10. Define and track KPIs
11. Use analytical tools to surface insights, optimise pricing strategies, and guide improvements
Skills required for the role:
12. Significant experience in travel industry roles particularly with GDS management, air supply or travel product delivery
13. Familiarity with GDS booking platforms, consolidators, airline APIs, BSP/ARC/IATA processes
14. Strong capability in data analysis (SQL proficiency preferred) and using insights to inform strategy and optimisation
15. Clear, adaptive communication style suited for internal and external training and stakeholder engagement
16. Comfortable navigating fast-paced environments, pivoting quickly, and balancing long- and short-term priorities
17. High accuracy in managing flight data, rate agreements, and system nuances; resilient under pressure
18. Genuine enthusiasm for travel, customer experience, and continuous improvement in airline product offerings
19. Ideally, good knowledge of both UK and Irish Airline markets
