Our Meallmore team at Kinmylies is ready to warmly welcome you as a Second Chef within their care home. Surrounded by dramatic views of the mountains and canal, Kinmylies Lodge Care Home provides a supportive and homely environment that encourages residents’ independence. Located in the quiet suburbs of Inverness, Kinmylies caters towards residents recovering from mental health illnesses and has a reputation for promoting community living.

Your role as a Meallmore Second Chef will include:
* Assist the Head Chef in planning, preparing, and cooking meals according to dietary needs.
* Ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene regulations.
* Prepare and serve food timely and efficiently.
* Collaborate with other departments to ensure resident satisfaction.
* Stay updated with industry trends and introduce innovative ideas.
* Manage food budget and minimize waste.
Skills and Requirements:
* Knowledge of nutrition, dietary requirements, and allergies (desirable).
* Strong culinary skills and creativity.
* Proficiency in food safety practices.
* Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
* Good communication and interpersonal skills.
* Culinary qualifications (desirable).
* Ability to influence menu development.
