Overview

We are looking for a reliable, capable individual to join our small family run company as a General Office Administrator. This role is ideal for someone who is forward thinking with good organisational skills, people skills & knowledge of Xero. The successful candidate will play a vital part in maintaining efficient office functions, ensuring smooth communication, and supporting various administrative duties within our organisation.

Responsibilities

* Allocating payments and settling account balances
* Uploading bills & preparing invoices
* Managing credit control & customer overdue amounts
* Answering customer enquiries & assisting them where necessary, both in person & over the phone/email
* Assisting with the year end process
* Assisting with internal and annual audits
* Administrative & clerical support across our diverse business, including holiday cottages
* Reporting back to the directors

Skills

* Good communication skills and the ability to build positive working relationships
* A positive, proactive outlook with a willingness to learn
* Comfortable working independently and managing your own workload
* Strong accuracy, attention to detail and organisational skills
* Flexibility to support the team during busy periods or when priorities change
* Proficiency with Xero accounting software and Excel
* Good phone etiquette and communication skills to liaise professionally with clients and colleagues

Job Types: Part-time, Permanent

Pay: £13.00 per hour

Expected hours: 15 per week
