ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES & ACCOUNTABILITIES:
1. Receives coversheet and assigned cart for each series of orders, logs onto the voice system to begin the voice-directed picking process. Moves the cart through the product bin aisles and picks the corresponding products from product bins, placing the correct product and quantity into the cart, and packing small items into bags or banding them together for easier identification.
2. Verifies products during the picking process and may verify during packing.
3. Maintains daily individual production records, which are reviewed by the supervisor, by recording the time particular tasks are performed.
4. After completing the cart, returns it to the staging area and begins packing customer orders by verifying selected products and checking off items on packing lists.
5. Selects appropriately sized boxes or envelopes to prevent bending, crushing, or shifting during delivery. Packs orders neatly and correctly, using bubble wrap for glass items, placing small items in bags, and liquids together in bags, packing all items upright. Follows proper packing procedures.
6. Reports any errors in product selection or quality to the appropriate team member and corrects orders as necessary before shipment.
7. Sends orders along the conveyor system to the packing area, then places packed orders on the conveyor for shipment. Processes special orders using the designated procedures.
8. Disposes of empty boxes and packaging appropriately to maintain a safe and clean work environment.
9. Participates in special projects and performs other duties as required.

* Adhering to workplace behavior policies when completing tasks and assignments.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Specialized Knowledge and Skills:
Good reading, writing, math, and computer skills. Strong communication skills. Detail-oriented and responsible for making accurate decisions within guidelines. Good problem-solving skills. Ability to follow instructions, work under stress, and handle multiple tasks. Ability to read fine print and differentiate similar products by size, color, or vendor code.
Experience:
Knowledge of basic warehousing operations preferred.
Other:
High school diploma or equivalent preferred, or comparable work experience.
Physical Demands:
Ability to lift, carry, or move products up to 20 lbs. frequently, and 0-10 lbs. constantly. Frequent walking on concrete floors. Continuous gripping, pushing, pulling, and fine hand manipulation. Frequent twisting or bending of the torso. Occasional ladder climbing. Handling tools such as computers and tape guns continuously.
Conditions:
Work occurs in a temperature-controlled environment. Occasional exposure to dust and cold conditions.
