Join Our Finance Team at The Compleat Food Group!
We're excited to offer an incredible opportunity for an Assistant Accountant to join our dedicated and professional Finance team in Middlesbrough! This is a temporary contract for 3 months.
As an Assistant Accountant, you'll play a key role in supporting the reporting and analysis of our site's performance. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is part-qualified or eager to begin a career in finance, as full training will be provided. You don't need extensive experience or industry knowledge - just enthusiasm, attention to detail, and a willingness to learn.

Working Hours:
The working hours are Monday to Thursday 08:30am - 5pm, and 8.30pm - 4pm on Fridays
Your Duties Will Include:
* Assisting the site finance team in the reporting of site performance
* Daily and weekly KPI reporting
* Daily and weekly site variance reporting
* Monthly stock reconciliations
* Monitoring and posting of prepayments & accruals
* Analysis of site overheads
* Tracking of capital project costs
* Assisting with regular forecasting of site performance
* Annual budgeting of site performance
* ERP system interrogation
* Management all site master data, including but not limited to item master, BOMs, supplier pricing agreements, customer price lists
* Assist with the implementation of a new ERP system
Your Skills and Experience:
* Strong attention to detail and accuracy
* Good numerical and analytical skills
* Ability to prioritise and manage time effectively
* Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
* Team player with a proactive attitude
* Willingness to learn and develop professionally
