The Role
As a Senior Specialist within a social work unit, you will deliver outstanding services with a clear purpose: safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children. You will discharge the Authority’s responsibilities under the Children Acts 1989 & 2004 and other relevant legislation for:
* Children in Need (CIN)
* Children in need of protection (CP)
* Children in the care of the Local Authority (LAC)
In the FSS team, the relationship you build with families is the cornerstone of our intervention. You will be at the heart of how families experience help, ensuring that support is child-focused and impactful.

We need social workers who are ready to work independently and demonstrate initiative, while remaining a dependable team player.
Requirements:
* Qualified Social Worker (Social Work England Registered).
* Significant experience in Children’s Social Work, specifically within Safeguarding and Family Support.
* Expertise in managing complex caseloads, including CP, CIN, and Court proceedings.
* A commitment to holistic, family-centered practice.
* The ability to navigate a diverse, multi-cultural urban environment with sensitivity and professionalism
