Hybrid working with 2–3 days per week in our Wolverhampton office and the remainder remote. The successful applicant will also be required to visit our datacentre estate and attend trade shows and other industry events throughout the year.
Role Overview
VeloxServ is seeking an enthusiastic and creative Junior Digital Content Marketing Executive to support and grow our digital presence through visual and written content. This role is perfect for someone early in their marketing journey who enjoys designing digital assets, capturing and editing photography, and supporting content across blogs, social, and PR under the guidance of the Head of Marketing.
Key Responsibilities
Content Design & Visual Assets
* Create engaging social media graphics, visual posts, and digital assets that reflect VeloxServ's brand.
* Assist in producing marketing collateral such as brochures, presentations, and campaign visuals.
Photography & Media
* Capture and edit photography for use across social platforms, campaigns, and marketing materials.
* Maintain an organised digital asset library for the business.
Content Support
* Help generate written content for blogs, social media captions, and press materials.
* Adapt longer content pieces into concise social media and digital formats.
Social & Digital Support
* Support planning, scheduling, and posting content across digital platforms.
* Monitor basic content performance and suggest creative improvements.
Collaborative Working
* Work alongside the Head of Marketing and other teams to help deliver on strategic objectives.
* Stay updated on digital content trends and emerging formats.
Skills & Experience
Essential
* Some experience through internships, coursework, or freelance projects in digital content or marketing.
* Good graphic design skills using tools such Adobe Creative Suite (particularly Photoshop, Illustrator, Acrobat), or Canva.
* Basic photography and image editing skills.
* Strong written communication and attention to detail.
* Familiarity with major social media platforms and formats.
Desirable
* Some knowledge of CMS platforms and basic SEO principles.
* Video creation or editing experience.
* Past experience supporting PR content.
Personal Attributes
* Creative, proactive, and keen to develop in a fast-paced environment.
* Organised, reliable, and able to juggle multiple tasks.
Hybrid Working
This role is hybrid – you'll spend 2–3 days a week in our Wolverhampton office working collaboratively with the team and the rest of the week working remotely to support focus and flexibility.
Salary Banding
£26,000 – £30,000 per annum, based on experience, portfolio quality, and fit with the role.
