Overview
We're looking for a Legal PA to provide high-quality support to a busy, high-performing team. You'll use strong organisational skills, clear communication, and a proactive, detail-focused approach to keep workflows running smoothly and anticipate issues early. If you're reliable, collaborative, and thrive in a fast-paced professional environment, this role places you at the centre of day-to-day operations.
Responsibilities
* Maintain accurate client and matter data, manage matter openings, draft engagement documents, and assist with due diligence.
* Build and maintain strong client communication and support relationships effectively.
* Draft, amend, and proofread legal documents; prepare bundles and e‑Bibles; support trial preparation.
* Manage inboxes by e‑filing, prioritising urgent emails, and drafting basic responses.
* Organise client meetings, lunches, events, and coordinate detailed travel itineraries with contingencies.
* Maintain client information, support pitch research, manage marketing and event lists, update fee‑earner profiles, and take BD meeting minutes.
* Complete expenses accurately, manage pre‑bills and final bills, check billing narratives, process disbursements, and prepare internal money transfers.
* Ensure client matter ledgers are fully cleared at closure.
* Provide general administrative assistance to fee earners as needed.
Qualifications
* Strong organisational skills with attention to detail.
* Excellent communication skills both written and oral.
* Ability to work independently while managing multiple tasks effectively under pressure.
* Reliable with a strong sense of responsibility towards assigned tasks.
* Proactive approach towards identifying issues/problems before they arise.
