Overview
ADAS, part of the RSK Group, is seeking to appoint a GIS / Cartographic Consultant into the Modelling, Software & Geospatial Science team to contribute to the delivery of GIS services on a full-time, permanent basis. This hybrid home and office role is located in Wolverhampton, UK. The successful applicant will engage in projects related to agriculture and the environment, serving internal and external clients. Responsibilities may include digital map production, management and analysis of spatial data, and the collection and processing of large datasets to produce high-quality outputs for a diverse range of services.

The successful applicant will join a multidisciplinary team comprising research scientists and consultants based across the UK, primarily operating within the Modelling, Software and Geospatial Science group, while collaborating with colleagues in crop physiology and protection, soil science, policy and economics, sustainable food and farming, and environmental sciences. Collaboration with other teams within RSK is expected.
Responsibilities
* Produce and manage digital maps and spatial data
* Analyze spatial data and integrate large datasets to generate outputs for a range of services
* Contribute to project lifecycle activities, including proposal development and client-facing delivery
* Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across ADAS and RSK
Qualifications
* Proven expertise in GIS with applications to environmental and agricultural projects
* Experience in digital cartography, spatial data management, and data processing
* Ability to work across multiple projects and collaborate with internal and external clients
Salary And Benefits
* Up to £38,000 per annum depending on experience
