About The Role
We’re looking for an organised and proactive Business Support Administrator to join our project team in the Horncastle depot in Lincolnshire. This is a key role within the project office, supporting day‑to‑day operations and helping ensure the smooth and efficient delivery of project requirements. You’ll work closely with site teams, managers and supervisors, providing essential administrative support across document control, procurement, payroll coordination and health & safety reporting. What you’ll be doing
* Maintaining accurate project records and managing company and client documentation
* Supporting the timely submission and transmission of project documents, ensuring quality and contractual compliance
* Producing and formatting documents, reports and meeting minutes
* Acting as a key point of contact for staff, suppliers and site teams, with a strong customer‑focused approach
* Processing purchase requisitions, obtaining material quotes and coordinating deliveries
* Booking and managing concrete, tarmac, plant, skip and waste services
* Coding and processing delivery tickets and timesheets
* Collating payroll information, holiday and sickness records
* Completing and processing plant hire forms
* Supporting SHE (Safety, Health & Environment) administration, including toolbox talks and safety audit records
* Providing general administrative support including scanning, photocopying and data management
* Supporting the wider project team with ad‑hoc administrative tasks as required
Who we’re looking for
Essential
* Experience of document management within a client‑facing, technical or project environment
* Good working knowledge of document management systems
* Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
* Ability to produce and maintain simple databases
* Excellent communication skills, with the confidence to work with colleagues and stakeholders at all levels
* A collaborative team player with a proactive and organised approach
* Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
Desirable
* Previous experience working on construction or civil engineering projects
