Role Overview:
Deliver engaging and well-structured History lessons across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4
Inspire curiosity and enthusiasm for History through creative and interactive teaching approaches
Assess, monitor, and track student progress, providing constructive feedback to support achievement
Contribute to curriculum planning and departmental development
Maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes high expectations
Support whole-school initiatives and enrichment activities where appropriate
Candidate Profile:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification
Strong subject knowledge and a genuine passion for History
Ability to motivate and challenge students of varying abilities
Strong classroom management and communication skills
A collaborative team player committed to professional development
Suitable for experienced teachers and confident Early Career Teachers (ECTs)
