Description
Working within a dynamic global team, based in London, in a fast-paced environment with an ever-changing risk landscape.
You will be responsible for a portfolio of clients and prospects, with accountability for client retention and new business development. You will manage and develop relationships with clients and Willis Towers Watson, aiming to grow the portfolio within the business unit and convert prospects into clients.
The Role:
* Face-to-face broking in Lloyd's and with London markets, as well as electronically with international markets.
* Collaborate with the Global Broking Team on all aspects of work.
* Maintain excellence in broking through trust, credibility, and strong market relationships.
* Manage client accounts and administration to retain and develop a profitable terrorism portfolio, ensuring timely and accurate care of clients’ programmes.
* Trade electronically through PPL.
* Understand clients’ business and risk management needs; determine suitable solutions, structure, price, and placement strategies.
* Identify opportunities to collaborate across the business for account penetration and cross-selling.
* Develop knowledge of WTW’s relevant products and services.
* Ensure transparency in agency and other commitments to carriers and clients.
* Maximize revenue from new and existing clients using appropriate placement channels and markets.
Qualifications
Requirements:
* Proven insurance market experience, preferably in London or international markets.
* Strong analytical, numeracy, and organizational skills for managing complex data.
* Ability to develop high-quality proposals and presentations collaboratively.
* Good knowledge of Market Reform Contracts for insurance and reinsurance.
* Exceptional attention to detail.
* Experience in client and underwriter interactions, both face-to-face and via phone.
* Strong negotiation, influencing, and communication skills.
* Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic team environment.
* Proven service delivery and relationship-building skills.
* Professional integrity and credibility.
* Interest and potential to develop specialization in terrorism and political violence.
