About the Role As a Cask?Handler you will: - Champion a zero-harm culture, following all Health &?Safety, Environmental, Customs &?Excise and site standards. - Safely move spirit-filled casks manually or with machinery, covering filling, warehousing, disgorging and empty-cask handling. - Meet daily/weekly production targets while protecting product integrity and recording stock movements with our barcode system. - Tackle problems on the spot-working both independently and as part of a tight-knit crew-to keep operations running smoothly. - Contribute to Manufacturing Excellence by attending tier meetings, sharing ideas and driving continuous improvement. - Embrace our "2030?Spirit of Progress" sustainability goals and be an ambassador for Diageo's values every day. About You We're looking for energetic team players who thrive on solving practical problems and delivering first-class results. You'll need strong attention to detail, solid numeracy skills, and the ability to think analytically in a fast-paced environment. Clear and confident communication is key, along with the ability to prioritise tasks and adapt when plans change. While experience in a production, warehousing, or logistics environment would be an advantage, it's not essential. If you've worked in a structured, hands-on role and know how to stay organised, focused, and calm under pressure, we want to hear from you. Basic IT skills, such as using Microsoft Office, and an FLT licence are helpful, but not mandatory. If you're familiar with health and safety regulations or HMRC compliance requirements, that's a bonus too. Manual-handling experience is welcome but also not mandatory-if you've got the drive to learn, we'll provide the training.
