An acclaimed premium coffee company with European roots and a bold global vision is searching for a dynamic On-trade Sales Director to expand its footprint across the hospitality and out-of-home landscape. Based in London, this pivotal role will define how coffee is savored in some of the UK and Europe’s most refined venues.
What You’ll Do
* Architect and implement a commercial expansion roadmap targeting upscale hotels, restaurants, boutique cafés, artisan bakeries, and executive workspaces in the UK and selected European cities.
* Reinforce and refine our go-to-market strategy through elite distributor collaborations and direct key account acquisition, amplifying brand presence in premium, high-experience locations.
* Work closely with brand, operations, and logistics teams to craft seamless, premium touchpoints that embody the essence of curated coffee excellence.
* Establish intelligent pricing, promo planning, and range strategies to drive growth without compromising our premium edge.
* Leverage category data, customer insights, and emerging consumption trends to evolve channel segmentation and product deployment.
* Act as a strategic bridge between the London market and global leadership to adapt international initiatives with local flair and operational precision.
What You Bring
* A decade or more of senior-level experience in commercial leadership, trade marketing, or route-to-market strategy within the beverage, specialty coffee, or luxury food domain.
* A proven history of scaling premium brands in the UK or broader European region, ideally with knowledge of hospitality or foodservice sectors.
* Strong proficiency in managing distributors and cultivating long-term high-value partnerships.
* A balance of strategic foresight and operational tenacity, with a deep respect for artisanal quality and brand integrity.
* Fluent in English; other European languages (especially French, German, or Italian) are highly desirable.
* Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or Hospitality; postgraduate credentials such as an MBA are advantageous.
