Residential Support Worker – Children's Services Oxfordshire | £15.50 up to £19.00 per Hour | Flexible Agency Work Looking for a role where you can genuinely change a young person's life? Completely Care is recruiting Residential Support Workers to support children and young people living in residential homes across Oxfordshire. The young people you will support may have a range of needs, including Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties (EBD), autism, learning differences, trauma backgrounds, attachment needs, and other complex needs. Every day is different, but your support can make a lasting impact on a young person's confidence, wellbeing, and future. The Role As a Residential Support Worker, you will help create a safe, stable, and nurturing environment where children and young people can thrive. Your duties will include: • Building positive and trusting relationships with young people • Supporting with daily routines, activities, education, and appointments • Encouraging independence, confidence, and life skills development • Managing challenging behaviour using positive and therapeutic approaches • Supporting young people with emotional wellbeing and regulation • Following care plans, behaviour support plans, and risk assessments • Maintaining accurate records and reports • Promoting safeguarding and welfare at all times • Working as part of a dedicated team to achieve positive outcomes for young people What We're Looking For • Experience working with children and young people is desirable but not essential • A caring, resilient, and patient approach • An interest in supporting young people with EBD, autism, learning disabilities, and complex needs • Strong communication and teamwork skills • Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including days, evenings, weekends, waking nights, and sleep-ins • A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children • Enhanced DBS or willingness to obtain one What We Offer • Pay rates up to £19.00 per hour • Flexible temporary work to fit around your availability • Regular ongoing shifts with a variety of services • Free online training and development • £40 DBS refund after completing 150 hours* (terms apply) • Support from an experienced and friendly recruitment team • Opportunities to gain experience across a range of specialist residential services About Completely Care Completely Care is a specialist recruitment agency supporting the health and social care, education, and childcare sectors.
