An established environmental consultancy in Cambridge is looking to recruit an Assistant Ecologist to support its growing team. This role is ideal for an early-career ecologist seeking to strengthen their field skills, expand their technical knowledge and progress within a supportive, team-focused workplace.

Your Role Will Include
* Assisting with ecological surveys and on-site data collection
* Supporting report writing, mapping and technical outputs
* Helping to deliver projects efficiently and to a high standard
* Keeping accurate field notes and following health and safety requirements
About You
* Degree qualified in ecology or a related subject
* Some practical experience in ecological fieldwork, including protected species surveys such as bats or great crested newts
* Strong interest in UK habitats and wildlife, with developing ID skills
* Clear written and verbal communication skills
* Full UK driving licence and flexibility to travel for site work
