Teaching Personnel are seeking to recruit Cover Supervisors for Secondary schools in Welwyn Garden City, Hertfordshire!
Salary: £90-£170 per day (varied depending on experience and qualifications)
Hours of work: 37.5 hours a week (or ad-hoc flexible)

Teaching Personnel is working with secondary schools located across Hertfordshire and offering opportunities to Cover Supervisors. We are looking for Graduates with subject-specific knowledge ideally local to Welwyn Garden City to support secondary schools in the area.
You are not required to have a teaching qualification to be successful, just up to date and relevant experience working with young people. This is a perfect opportunity for a recent graduate or someone who is potentially looking to start a career in education.
This position will allow you to gain experience managing a variety of lessons and building rapport with students. This is a chance to develop teaching and strong classroom management skills in an environment where planning will always be in place.
Responsibilities:
* Working across a range of different year groups and departments
* Managing the behaviour of students
* Supervising pre-planned, pre-set work from teachers
Requirements of the Candidate:
* Recent and relevant experience working with young people, this can be in an educational, coaching or care setting
* Degree educated
* Be passionate and committed to working with children in education
* Have strong behaviour management skills
* Be an effective communicator and have strong interpersonal skills
* Be punctual, flexible and reliable
This is an ideal role for someone who is looking to develop their experience of working within a school environment or may wish to complete teacher training in the future.
During quieter periods for cover—particularly in the summer term—there are opportunities forpaid exam invigilation work, which offers a valuable way to stay involved in the school environment.Free training is also available, ensuring you feel fully confident and prepared in your role.
