An excellent opportunity has arisen in the Haematology department for an enthusiastic, self-motivated, and dynamic leader. Stirland Ward is a 24-bedded Oncology/Haematology ward.
We are looking to recruit a visible ward sister/charge nurse who is a professional role model, dedicated to delivering high standards of care and ensuring the fundamentals are right. The ideal candidate is someone who loves to develop others to become excellent at what they do and wants to make a difference. You will be a nurse motivated to deliver the highest standards of nursing care and capable of working as part of a proactive and forward-thinking multidisciplinary team.
You will be self-driven, innovative, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. You will also be highly motivated with a desire to provide the highest standards of care, demonstrating clear leadership. You will be accountable for the efficient and effective operational management of the ward, providing support and supervision to nursing and non-nursing staff, and assisting in maintaining and monitoring key performance indicators.
