Overview
Female Support Worker – Porth at Case Management Cymru. Location: Ynyshir, Porth. Contract: Permanent. Hours per week: 13 hours minimum per week with flexibility for extra hours (job share considered for the right candidate). Working pattern: Monday to Sunday. Pay per hour: £16.80. Closing date: 11th November 2025 (note: advert may close earlier if a high volume of suitable applicants).
I am a friendly lady in my 60s who experienced a traumatic brain injury. I am looking for a supportive, proactive person to help me stay independent at home and in the community. I will need my support worker to offer encouragement, structure and companionship. I am able to manage my personal care independently, so assistance with personal care is not required. I enjoy Pilates, Yoga, walks in the park, cinema trips and occasional overnight stays which I would like you to join and support me on. You will support me with cooking, managing my house, and exploring community activities. You will also use your transport to help me access activities and appointments for my rehabilitation. Through my recovery, I have good days and bad days, so a patient, warm, calm and consistent approach is valued. You will be part of my multi-disciplinary rehabilitation team and play an important role in supporting ongoing recovery.
This role is subject to an Enhanced DBS check. Full induction and training will be provided.
