About the Role
Lew's Coffee Shop is looking for an experienced Barista to join our friendly team on Saturdays at our busy Llandaff North & Gabalfa site. Saturdays are lively, so we're looking for someone who can confidently work in a fast-paced environment while still providing excellent customer service.
This role is ideal for someone already in Cardiff or moving here for university who's looking for weekend work in a welcoming, community-focused coffee shop.
Responsibilities
* Prepare high-quality coffee, teas, and other drinks to our usual high standards
* Deliver friendly, attentive customer service and build rapport with regular customers
* Work efficiently during busy Saturday shifts
* Assist with cleaning, stock rotation, and general café upkeep
* Work closely with other team members to ensure smooth operations

* Previous barista experience is essential – must be able to hit the ground running
* Strong communication skills and a friendly, approachable personality
* Ability to work well under pressure and as part of a team
* Reliable, punctual, and enthusiastic about providing great customer service
