The Opportunity
Leeds Bradford Airport is one of the UK’s fastest‑growing regional airports, handling over 4 million passengers annually and investing in an exciting future. We’re now looking for an HR Advisor to join our team on a 12‑month fixed‑term contract, supporting during a period of planned maternity cover. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a, fast‑paced operational environment, working as part of a collaborative HR team supporting over 5,000 employees across the business. You’ll play a key role in delivering a high‑quality HR service, working closely with managers and leaders to drive performance, engagement, and employee experience.
Key Responsibilities
* Managing a varied caseload of employee relations matters end‑to‑end, including disciplinaries, grievances and performance
* Supporting managers with absence management and employee wellbeing
* Acting as a trusted advisor to managers across operational teams
* Coaching and developing line managers in people‑related matters
* Supporting engagement initiatives, surveys and HR projects
* Using data and HR systems to drive insights and decision‑making
* Partnering closely with the HRBP and wider HR team to deliver best practice
This is a busy, hands‑on role where you’ll take ownership of cases and build strong relationships across the business.
We’re looking for someone who is confident, approachable and enjoys working in a fast‑paced environment.
You’ll bring:
* Strong experience in a generalist HR Advisor role, particularly employee relations
* Confidence managing cases from start to finish
* A proactive, solutions‑focused mindset
* Excellent relationship‑building and communication skills
* Strong organisation and ability to manage multiple priorities
* A down‑to‑earth, team‑focused approach
* CIPD Level 5 (or working towards) is desirable but not essential.
