GSL Education are looking for a committed and enthusiastic KS2 Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming school in Nottingham from September 2025. As a KS2 TA, this role is suitable for someone dedicated to supporting children’s learning and development, working alongside the class teacher to help every pupil reach their full potential. As a KS2 Teaching Assistant, your responsibilities will include: Supporting the class teacher in delivering engaging and inclusive lessons. Assisting individual pupils or small groups to reinforce learning objectives. Helping to create a positive and stimulating learning environment. Monitoring pupil progress and providing feedback to the teacher. Supporting children with varying abilities, including those with additional needs. Ensuring the safety and well-being of all pupils in line with school safeguarding policies. To be successful in this role of KS2 TA, you should: Have previous experience working as a Teaching Assistant, ideally within KS2. Possess a relevant TA qualification (Level 2/3 desirable) or equivalent experience. Demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Be patient, adaptable, and passionate about working with children. Hold an enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service or be willing to apply for one.
