Import/Export Coordinator – Sea Freight
Location: Laindon HillsSalary: Up to £30,000 (onsite)

Our client, a well-established freight forwarding business based in Laindon Hills, is looking for an Import/Export Coordinator to join their growing team. Key Responsibilities
* Manage sea freight import and export shipments from start to finish
* Handle all relevant documentation, including Bills of Lading, commercial invoices, packing lists and customs declarations
* Liaise with shipping lines, hauliers, overseas agents and customers to ensure smooth movement of goods
* Track shipments and provide regular updates to clients
* Assist with quotations, rate negotiations and customer service support
* Resolve any shipment issues or delays efficiently
* Maintain accurate records within internal systems and ensure compliance with all regulations
Skills & Experience Required
* Experience in sea freight import and export operations is essential
* Good understanding of customs procedures
* Strong communication and customer service skills
* Excellent attention to detail and organisational ability
* Able to work efficiently in a busy, time-sensitive environment
* Knowledge of freight systems/software is advantageous
