Why you will love this opportunity as Social Media Manager at Civica
The Paid Media and Social Manager at Civica leads two core marketing functions: the hands-on management of paid digital media and the strategic development of the company’s social media presence. This role is responsible for planning, executing, optimising, and reporting on paid campaigns across multiple platforms.
Alongside paid media, the role drives the transformation of Civica’s social channels, particularly LinkedIn, into a high-performing B2B function. This includes shaping organic strategy, leading content programmes, building employee advocacy, and enhancing executive visibility.
Working closely with Brand, Content, and Campaign teams, the Paid Media and Social Manager ensures alignment across channels and reports into the Director of Marketing Channels, contributing to a cohesive and results-driven marketing approach.
What you will do to be successful in this role:
Responsibilities:
1. Own the planning, budget allocation, and hands-on execution of paid media campaigns across LinkedIn Ads, paid search, display, and other relevant digital channels, with accountability for spend efficiency, performance, and return on investment.
2. Lead the strategic overhaul of Civica's LinkedIn presence and broader social channels, defining the channel strategy, content architecture, tone of voice application, and governance framework that will transform social from a passive broadcast function into an active pipeline and brand-building asset.
3. Build and manage a structured organic social content programme across LinkedIn and other relevant platforms, working with Brand, Content, and Campaign teams to develop a consistent editorial calendar that reflects campaign priorities, product moments, and market-relevant thought leadership.
4. Develop and run an employee advocacy programme and support the development of executive social media profiles, enabling Civica's senior leaders and subject matter experts to build credible personal presence on LinkedIn in a way that amplifies the company's positioning.
5. Manage agency and platform relationships where relevant, acting as an informed and technically capable client.
