About the Job
We’re looking for a proactive, highly organised, and detail-oriented Project Administrator to join our dynamic team and support the successful delivery of our projects. This role is central to ensuring the smooth running of project operations, providing administrative, coordination, and communication support to project managers and wider teams.
The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys working collaboratively and playing a key role in the success of complex, high-value projects.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide day-to-day administrative support to project managers and the wider project team.
* Assist with preparation, formatting, and distribution of project documentation, reports, and presentations.
* Maintain accurate and up-to-date project records, schedules, and trackers.
* Support project planning by updating timelines, milestones, and task lists.
* Organise and coordinate project meetings, including preparing agendas, taking minutes, and following up on actions.
* Liaise with internal departments, suppliers, and external partners to ensure smooth project delivery.
* Maintain supplier records including confidentiality agreements, insurance documentation, and contact details.
* Assist with procurement processes, including raising purchase orders and tracking invoices.
* Support compliance with company policies, procedures, and client requirements.
* Provide administrative support to the Sales Team and other departments as required.
* Contribute to continuous improvement by identifying and suggesting ways to streamline processes.
* Assist with travel booking and coordination for project teams working at site.
* Provide support to the Administration Manager when required.
Knowledge, Skills and Educational Requirements

Required:
* Proven experience in an administrative or project support role, ideally within an engineering, construction, or technical environment.
* Strong organisational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritise multiple tasks effectively.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with confidence liaising across all levels of the business and with external partners.
* High level of attention to detail and accuracy in documentation and data entry.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and familiarity with project management software/tools (e.g. MS Project, Primavera, or similar) is an advantage.
* Ability to work independently as well as part of a team, demonstrating initiative and problem-solving skills.
* Strong interpersonal skills with a professional and collaborative approach.
* Understanding of project lifecycles, processes, and documentation requirements.
* NVQ Level 3 or equivalent (e.g., A-levels).
