About The Role
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic individual to join this successful and highly motivated department at Eccles Sixth Form College as a Deputy Head of Life Sciences. The department offers a varied curriculum from Level 1 to L4 across Applied Science, Animal Management, Equine Management, and Veterinary Nursing with a strong focus on progression.
The successful candidate will be able to bring their own expertise to this dedicated high-achieving department with experience across at least two of our curriculum disciplines. They should have a degree or equivalent in a related subject, alongside a teaching qualification, and relevant extensive vocational industry experience. It is desirable that candidates hold or are working towards a Master’s Degree and/or hold a position within an external awarding body. The ideal candidate will be well motivated, responsive to change, innovative, and possess good communication skills.
This position will end upon the return of the substantive post holder.
