Assistant Quantity Surveyor
Location: West London
Salary: £30,000 – £35,000 (depending on experience)

The Role
This is an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Assistant Quantity Surveyor to join a dynamic consultancy team. Working closely with senior surveyors, you’ll gain hands-on experience across cost management, contract administration, and project delivery. The role offers full support towards RICS chartership and exposure to a diverse range of projects.
Key Responsibilities
* Assist in preparing cost estimates, feasibility studies, and elemental cost plans
* Help produce Bills of Quantities and tender documentation
* Support contract administration, valuations, and final accounts
* Attend site visits and client meetings under supervision
* Contribute to general cost and project management tasks
* Work towards APC and RICS qualification
Essential Requirements
* BSc (Hons) in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline
* Strong analytical, numerical, and communication skills
* Genuine interest in construction and the built environment
* Positive, proactive attitude and willingness to learn
* Eligible to work in the UK and hold a valid UK driving licence
Desirable
* Previous experience in a QS or construction-related role (placement or internship)
* Familiarity with software such as CostX, Bluebeam, or MS Excel
* Ambition to become RICS or CIOB chartered
* Understanding of current construction methods and procurement processes
