About the Practice
We are an established in-store practice with a loyal client base and a varied caseload that allows you to pursue and develop your own clinical interests. Cases can be fully worked up in-house, and we actively encourage and fund certificates to support your career growth. We also enjoy a great working relationship with Barnsley Hospital, which offers referral services and access to a CT scanner, expanding the care we can provide to our patients.
Our purpose-built surgery is modern, spacious, and fully equipped to deliver gold-standard care. You’ll be joining a supportive and motivated team who share the same vision of putting pets and clients at the heart of everything we do.
Location
Barnsley is a fantastic place to live and work — famous for its award-winning markets, museums, and galleries. We’re only a short drive from the breathtaking Peak District National Park, while Sheffield city centre is less than 40 minutes away. The Role
This role is available on a full-time or part-time basis, with no out-of-hours and Saturdays on a fair rota basis, giving you plenty of time to enjoy a healthy work-life balance. Annual leave increases with length of service, and we also give you an extra day off for your birthday—because we think it’s important to celebrate you, too.
We’re looking for a Veterinary Surgeon with good small animal experience, confident with sole charge when required, and keen to be part of a supportive team. Most importantly, you’ll share our passion for delivering exceptional care to our patients and community.
