Are you an experienced Class 1 night trunk driver seeking a new opportunity? We have an exciting position based in Dartford for a skilled driver to join our team.
In this role, you will be responsible for transporting goods using a curtainsider vehicle, ensuring timely and safe deliveries throughout the week. The position offers consistent evening hours, starting at 5 pm daily, providing a predictable work schedule.
We offer a competitive hourly rate of £18.50, and this is an ongoing contract, offering job security and stability.
Key Responsibilities
1. Safely operate a Class 1 curtainsider vehicle
2. Conduct pre-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety
3. Adhere to all transport regulations and company policies
4. Complete delivery paperwork accurately
5. Maintain a high standard of professionalism while representing the company
Requirements
* Valid Class 1 driving license
* Previous experience in curtainsider driving preferred
* Excellent understanding of road safety and regulations
* Strong communication and time-management skills
