Responsibilities
* Lead site operations with strong commercial and financial acumen to ensure the site runs efficiently and effectively.
* Monitor and analyse KPIs; make recommendations to improve productivity, efficiency and service levels.
* Collaborate with engineering, service and logistics teams to resolve operational issues and enhance site performance.
* Manage production planning to ensure on-time, in-full delivery of customer commitments.
* Contribute to budget development, cost control, and long-term strategic planning alongside the General Manager.
* Drive continuous improvement across operations, sales, customer satisfaction, health & safety, leadership and people agenda using Lean/Six Sigma methodologies (advantage).
* Operate in a fast-paced production/supply chain and/or service management environment in a lean setting.
* Provide strong man-management: motivate, develop talent, build a collaborative team culture and ensure accountability for performance.
* Inspire a culture of teamwork, recognise exceptional performance and address areas for improvement consistently and fairly.
* Set and maintain high standards for quality and compliance and communicate directions effectively.
Qualifications and attributes
* Experience in fast-paced production/supply chain environments; lean experience desirable.
* Strong customer focus with proven ability to balance commercial objectives and operational delivery.
* Excellent communication skills and the ability to lead and direct teams.
* Degree education preferred; commitment to ongoing personal and professional development.
