Highly Specialised Cardiac Physiologist (Invasive)

To perform basic and complex, cardiac investigative procedures on routine and emergency outpatients and inpatients for all divisions within Doncaster & Bassetlaw Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust using best current practice and to local and national standards.
Main duties of the job
Procedures undertaken are dependent upon the site; to include supervision and reporting of Exercise Stress Tests, Tilt-Testing procedures, pressure measurement during cardiac catheterisation, pacemaker implant and follow-up procedures, ambulatory electrocardiography (both 24Hr and Patient-activated), ambulatory Blood Pressure monitoring.

Person Specification
Knowledge and Experience
* Minimum 6 months experience after achieving IBHRE/BHRS Accreditation.
* Demonstrable leadership experience
* Experience at Band 7
Qualifications & Training
* BSc Clinical Physiology or equivalent qualification
* IBHRE/BHRS Accreditation
* Registration held with the AHCS or HCPC
* Computer literacy and numeracy
* Relevant Master\'s degree or equivalent.
* Management training

* Conveys written information clearly and accurately to a wide range of recipients
