As an Learning Support Mentor, you will work both in and out of the classroom, offering personalised support that encourages emotional, social and academic growth. You will also help deliver interventions focused around emotional regulation and promoting self-expression. The school uses creative, hands-on learning so expect lessons in music, cooking, drama, dance and art! Sensory-based learning and restorative practices are also key parts of the curriculum - as an LSA, you will help support with this, as well as rolling out other therapeutic techniques, often used in child psychology.
