Job Description
3. Fully utilise advanced MES and production systems to optimise performance
4. Manage machine resources to minimise downtime and ensure all lead times are met
5. Oversee workforce planning, scheduling, and staffing levels
6. Deliver the operational budget, including payroll, maintenance, capex, and third‑party storage
7. Lead, recruit, develop, and motivate the production team
8. Benchmark processes and introduce new technologies, systems, and ideas to enhance efficiency
9. Drive productivity improvements and cost‑reduction initiatives across all product lines
10. Ensure full compliance with health and safety standards
11. Set ambitious production targets and communicate performance clearly
12. Define and maintain quality control standards
13. Oversee maintenance, repairs, and routine servicing of production equipment
14. Escalate operational challenges to the Managing Director when required
15. Work closely with Business Development and Major Projects teams
16. Provide strong leadership, guidance, and support to all production staff
17. Implement a robust QMS with the goal of achieving ISO accreditation
18. Take full responsibility for production across all major projects and business areas
