Job Overview
We're seeking an enthusiastic individual to join our team as an Estimator/Quantity Surveyor. This role involves working with our experienced team to gain insights into the Interior/Flooring Industry and developing the necessary skills for a successful career in Quantity Surveying/Estimation.
Responsibilities include:
1. Working with our Quantity Survey, Commercial Department, and Sales team
2. Preparing quantifications, costing and tenders
3. Keeping up to date on company products, pricing, market, and customer circumstances
4. Proposing specifications and alternatives
5. Issuing quotations and client liaison
6. Valuing variations and preparing valuations
7. Reviewing material requirements and detailing reserves
8. Ability and experience working on multiple tenders and quotations at a given time
Qualifications:
1. Knowledge of flooring products and specifications
2. Problem-solving skills
3. Must be articulate and numerate
4. Microsoft/IT literacy, especially in Excel
5. Experience with Masterpiece/CAD (preferred)
6. Previous experience in Interior/Flooring trade and Excel (preferred)
We offer a standard 37.5-hour work week, Monday to Friday, from 8 AM to 4 PM or a 42.5-hour work week, Monday to Friday, from 8 AM to 5 PM. The salary will be dependent on the hours you work and your level of experience. Competitive rates offered.

Work Location:
Driving licence not mandatory, but candidates must be able to easily commute to the location. Ideally suited to someone based in Kidderminster or the surrounding areas.
